A Minor Chorus (2022) is the debut novel by award-winning Cree poet and academic Billy-Ray Belcourt. It is a work of auto-fiction that follows an unnamed queer Indigenous doctoral student who steps away from his thesis in academia to return to his hometown in northern Alberta, hoping to write a novel about the lives of his community.
